Extra La Ceiba flights added to meet summer travel demand

Cayman Airways Limited (CAL) has added extra flights between Grand Cayman and La Ceiba, Honduras, to meet the high demand for long-weekend travel during the summer months.

The La Ceiba route currently operates weekly on Fridays, with flight KX882 departing Grand Cayman at 1pm and arriving in La Ceiba at 1:35pm (La Ceiba time). On the return, flight KX883 departs La Ceiba at 2:40pm and arrives on Grand Cayman at 5:05pm.

An additional three flights have been added in May on the following Mondays: May 8, 15, and 22, 2023. For the Monday service, the flight times remain the same as the Friday flights, with flight KX2882 departing Grand Cayman at 1pm and arriving in La Ceiba at 1:35pm (La Ceiba time). On the return, flight KX2883 departs La Ceiba at 2:40pm and arrives on Grand Cayman at 5:05pm (Cayman time).

From June 20, 2023 through September 5, 2023, the Friday flight schedule will remain the same, while additional flights have been added on Tuesdays with the same flight times as noted for KX2882 and KX2883.
