Cayman Airways' cabin crewmembers are on board primarily for your safety. They receive intensive training in all safety procedures and in the event of an emergency will provide you with guidance and direction. They may require your assistance, and if you are called upon, the following information will better prepare you to assist.

  • Pay close attention to the safety demonstrations and announcements.
     
  • Take the time to locate the emergency exists closest to you, bearing in mind that they may be behind you.
     
  • If you are seated in an emergency exit make sure you know what is expected of you in the event of an emergency, and that you are capable of assisting as required.
     
  • Ensure that you know where your life jacket is located.
     
  • Ensure that you know where your oxygen mask will appear, if needed; how to start the flow of oxygen; and how to put the mask on securely.
     
  • Review the correct procedure for exiting the cabin in the event of an emergency.
     
  • Carefully review the safety information located in the seat pocket in front of you. In the unlikely event that safety procedures are required during your flight, remember to remain calm and to follow the instructions of Cayman Airways' cabin crewmembers.
