Cayman Airways confirms that flight KX200, which departed Owen Roberts International Airport (ORIA) on Grand Cayman at 11:50am destined for Tampa, Florida today, experienced a problem with one of its engines shortly after takeoff. The captain declared an emergency and returned the aircraft to ORIA, landing safely at 12:20pm without incident.

The aircraft has been removed from service, and all passengers will be transferred to another aircraft to operate the Tampa flight, which will now be delayed.

Cayman Airways will provide further updates as soon as more information becomes available.
