The below information is intended to assist passengers in their own research on the required travel documents applicable to them for travel to and from the Cayman Islands.
As of January 23rd, 2007, US citizens returning to the US from the Caribbean must present a passport for re-entry to the United States.

PLEASE NOTE:
Passengers must have the necessary travel documents for entry into the Cayman Islands as well as re-entry into the US.
Cayman nationals must have a valid passport with a valid visa or waiver to enter the United States.
The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mandates that all international passengers entering the US require a valid US visa. Under the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) Visa Waiver Program citizens from thirty-five (35) countries are eligible for a visa waiver. Please see link below for more information.
