Cayman Airways Ltd. defines service animals as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of the person with a disability. Service dogs are carried free of charge in the passenger cabin, required to fit at the handler's foot space on the aircraft; and be harnessed, leased, or tethered at all times in the airport and on the aircraft, and are not permitted to be placed on the seat or on the passenger’s lap during flight.

The individual traveling with a service dog is required to submit the US DOT form up to 48 hours before departure to GCMRESSupervisors@caymanairways.net when traveling on any Cayman Airways flight. If the passenger's reservation was made less than 48 hours before departure, a copy of the form must be presented at the time of check-in or to the gate agent. A maximum of two service dogs are permitted to travel with a single person.
