Following a decision made by the Cabinet of the Cayman Islands Government, Cayman Airways Limited (CAL) is advising customers that, effective January 14, 2021, all passengers aged 10 and older must provide evidence of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken no more than 72 hours prior to their travel date, when checking in for their flight to the Cayman Islands from any country. Passengers who do not meet this requirement, will not be able to travel.
Per government requirements, the COVID-19 PCR test must be from an accredited laboratory, such as the following:
Travellers’ pre-arrival PCR test results will be checked by the airline’s airport staff as part of the check-in process for flights destined to the Cayman Islands. A further check will be carried out by Customs and Border Control (CBC) on arrival in Cayman.
A paper copy of the PCR test results is recommended, but an e-copy of the results is also acceptable.
