Cayman Airways Limited (CAL) is monitoring the weather conditions in the Cayman Islands very closely as it relates to flight operations for today February 6, 2024.
The Cayman Islands Airports Authority (CIAA) has issued a notice that the Owen Roberts International Airport (GCM) on Grand Cayman and the Charles Kirkconnell International Airport (CYB) on Cayman Brac will suspend operations if wind gusts exceed 34 knots. Such temporary closures would also impact flights to and from Little Cayman.
At this time, flights are operating as scheduled, but if the noted airports temporarily close this morning, affected CAL passengers travelling today will be notified as soon as possible, and updated periodically via the email address provided at the time of booking, as information becomes available with regards to flight delays.
