Cayman Airways to conduct emergency exercise

Cayman Airways Limited (CAL) is advising the public that it will be conducting an emergency exercise on the morning of Tuesday August 31, 2021.

With the objective being to carry out and evaluate in real time the airline’s robust Emergency Response Plan (ERP), the exercise is being conducted in partnership with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Cayman Islands (CAACI), the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS), the 911 Emergency Communications Center, the Cayman Islands Fire Service (CIFS), Hazard Management Cayman Islands (HMCI), and Sister Islands District Administration.

The public can expect to see emergency services activity mainly around the Edward Bodden Airfield in Little Cayman for approximately two hours on Tuesday morning.
