Cayman Airways reinstates precautionary measures at offices

Following the news from the Cayman Islands Government on September 9, 2021 confirming community transmission of COVID-19 within the Cayman Islands, Cayman Airways Limited (CAL) is reinstating precautionary measures at all offices, for the safety and wellbeing of employees and customers. 

Effective immediately and until further notice, all visitors to CAL Headquarters, its Ticket Office, and Cargo Offices on Owen Roberts Drive on Grand Cayman, as well as the CAL Ticket Office and Cargo Office on Cayman Brac, are now required to take the following precautionary steps:

  • Wearing their own face covering (mask or face shield, including for children)
  • Sanitizing of hands using the sanitizing stations provided, or their own
  • Maintaining social distancing of 6-feet apart while in CAL offices

Cayman Airways will be limiting the number of visitors in its Ticket Offices and Cargo Offices as necessary to ensure that the required social distancing can be maintained.

Normal Cargo Office hours will be maintained as follows: on Grand Cayman, 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday, and 8:30am to 12pm on Saturdays (closed on Sundays). On Cayman Brac, 7am - 4pm Monday to Friday, and 7am - 12pm on Saturdays (closed Sundays).   

Normal Ticket Office hours will be maintained as follows: on Grand Cayman, 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday, and 9am-3pm on Saturdays (closed Sundays); on Cayman Brac, 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, and closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Cayman Airways Reservations Call Center will continue to serve customers from 7am – 7pm Monday to Friday, and 9am – 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
