“As we approach the peak of Hurricane Season 2021, we remain so very grateful for our dedicated employees who often have to go beyond the call of duty to ensure that our National Airline continues to be a crucial lifeline for our country during times of crisis and natural disasters,” said Cayman Airways President and CEO, Fabian Whorms.
Mr. Whorms, along with the airline’s Executive and Management teams, thanked everyone in the Cayman Airways family for getting the company, and the country, through another storm, especially those in the following departments: Flight Operations; Ticket Office and Reservations; Pilots and Cabin Crew; Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering; Baggage and Ramp Control; Ground Support Equipment and Facilities Maintenance; Inflight Purchasing and Stores; Safety, Security, and Quality Assurance; Cargo; Finance; Sales; Marketing and Public Relations; Network Planning and Scheduling; Inventory Management; Information Technology and Communications; Human Resources; and airport Customer Service staff at all stations, including Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, Little Cayman, Miami, and especially the Kingston staff who showed up to work Cayman Airways flights despite personal hardships that may have been endured from Jamaica having been hit first by Tropical Storm Grace.
