The National Flag Carrier of the Cayman Islands, Cayman Airways Limited (CAL), will be making a bold entrance at this year’s Taste of Cayman Food and Wine Festival - the airline is the festival’s first official Entrance Sponsor.
“Cayman Airways has always taken great pride in being the first to give visitors a warm Caymanian welcome to the Cayman Islands when they fly with us,” said the airline’s Marketing and Public Relations Manager, Olivia Scott-Ramirez. “This year we are thrilled to also be the first to welcome everyone to the Taste of Cayman Food and Wine Festival.”
Mrs. Scott-Ramirez invites festival-goers to stop by their tent outside the main entrance and enter to win a trip to Panama this Summer. Airline representatives will also be handing out boarding passes with a surprise promotion, as well as tastes of the famous Rum Punch which Cayman Airways offers for free on board all of its international flights.
Organized by the Cayman Islands Tourism Association (CITA), Taste of Cayman is expected to attract more than 5,000 people this year. CITA Executive Director, Jane van der Bol, said: “Each year we try to offer our patrons something new and exciting at Taste of Cayman. We are delighted to have Cayman Airways as our entrance sponsor supporting CITA’s number one fundraiser. This new entrance experience will set the mood for a night of entertainment, fine food and wines, and great memories.”
