The third-party flight planning software provider for Cayman Airways experienced a server outage early this morning, resulting in delays for some Cayman Airways flights.
The outage directly impacted Cayman Airways’ flights operating between Grand Cayman and Kingston and New York, resulting in delays on those flights. The Cayman Airways flight operations team at the airline’s headquarters on Grand Cayman resorted to manually developing flight plans to help minimize delays while the Jeppesen servers were down between approximately 7am and 10:30am.
All other flights are expected to operate on schedule throughout the day.
