We will provide prompt refunds for eligible tickets once a request accompanied by all appropriate documentation is received by our Refund Dept, and provided such request has been made not later one month after the expiration date of the ticket- i.e. 13 months from the date of ticket issuance.

Please note that all refunds are subject to published rules and penalties, and that at a minimum, a US$25.00 Administrative Service Charge will be assessed for all eligible refunds.

Note: If your ticket was issued by a Travel Agency, please request the refund through the issuing agency

Persons to whom refund is made- Except as provided below, Cayman Airways will refund only to the person named as the passenger on the ticket:

  • Tickets purchased with a credit card will be refunded only as a credit to the credit card account that was originally billed
  • Tickets issued against a prepaid ticket advice will be refunded only to the purchaser of the PTA
  • Tickets issued against a government transportation request will be refunded only to the government agency which issued the transportation request.
  • Tickets issued in the name of a minor will be refunded to the parent, guardian, or a third party as designated at time of purchase.
  • If at the time of purchase, the purchaser designates on the ticket, another person or entity to whom refund shall be made, the refund will be made to the person designated.

Whether the refund is voluntary or involuntary, Cayman Airways reserves the right to refuse to make any refund in a currency other than the currency of purchase or in a country other than country of purchase.

Non-refundable Tickets

Cayman Airways will not refund any portion of a ticket that is purchased with a non-refundable fare, including the fare and any taxes, fees, or other charges included within the total price paid for the ticket.

Cayman Airways may allow a portion of the non-refundable fare paid for an unused and unexpired non refundable Cayman Airways ticket to be applied towards the purchase of future travel on Cayman Airways, provided it is done in accordance with the applicable fare rule in place at the time of such request. Change fees and other administrative charges may apply.
