NMIA air traffic control returned to normal; Kingston flights resume as scheduled.
Cayman Airways has been advised by officials at the Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA) that air traffic control services have returned to normal, and therefore all scheduled flights between Grand Cayman and Kingston are expected to operate as scheduled.
Flights to the Cayman Islands are repatriation flights only and at this time are not available to short-term vacationers.
Inbound travel is currently limited to the following persons:
Work permit holders and their families
Persons who own residential property in the Cayman Islands
Students with a valid visa to study in the Cayman Islands
Persons with close family ties to residents or work permit holders - spouses, fiancés, parents, grandparents and siblings
All inbound passengers are required to apply for travel authorization from Travel Cayman to enter the Cayman Islands at least 10 days prior to departure. Passengers not in possession of valid authorization from Travel Cayman to enter the Cayman Islands will be denied boarding.
