The Chicago Fire Academy football team fly nonstop to Cayman on Cayman Airways

The Chicago Fire Academy U14 football (soccer) team arrived on Grand Cayman May 3, 2015 via Cayman Airways’ nonstop flight from Chicago. The team will be competing in the second annual Cayman Airways Invitational Youth Cup tournament taking place May 5-10, 2015.

“It is a great honor for us to be a part of the Cayman Airways Invitational Cup,” said Victor Bezerra of the Chicago Fire team. “We are thankful to be welcomed by the organization and for the opportunity to represent US Soccer and MLS. We look forward to the competition and experience ahead.”

The Cayman Airways Invitational Youth Cup is an international Under-15 tournament with the aim of bringing football (soccer) teams from around the world to the Cayman Islands. Cayman Airways is the title sponsor and Official Airline sponsor, providing complimentary airfare to Cayman for the visiting teams.
